Signed updates

Every release ships with an Ed25519-signed manifest. The app verifies the manifest signature and the SHA-256 hash before accepting or installing any update package.

The control panel is a staff and exchanger tool for tickets, exchange records, assigned work, aliases and support tasks. It requires an approved backend account and access stays role-limited.

Verify your download

Download only from byteswap.site or the in-app update prompt, compare the SHA-256 checksum above with your file, extract the zip before launching, then open ByteSwapTool.exe and sign in.

Staff and exchangers should only use the package from this page or the official in-app update prompt. Never install files sent through direct messages, mirrors or unofficial links — and never enter backend credentials into unofficial copies of the app.
